We are looking for a Care Support Assistant to come and join our team to support a client based in Manchester, M16 postcode area.

We are recruiting for a Care Support Assistant to support a client with Autism

Full training will be given to set you on your path to being a Care Support Assistant, where you will be paid a competitive rate of pay after completion of training. . 

This role is a part-time position offering 25 hours per week

 

Main duties of the job

Support will include:

Support to maintain the home environment 

Meal planning & preparation 

Increase activity – support more exercise, shopping, and community engagement

Support to attend medical appointments

Supporting with daily living tasks 

 

Shift patterns:

Week one:

Monday – 10am – 4.30pm

Tuesday – 10am – 4.30pm

Thursday – 10am – 4pm

Friday – 10am – 4pm

Week two:

Monday – 10am – 3pm

Tuesday – 10am – 3pm

Thursday – 10am – 3pm

Friday – 10am – 3pm

Sunday – 10am – 3pm

Your responsibilities as our Care Support Assistant will include:    Assisting and supporting vulnerable clients to enable them to live the life they choose (where possible) to promote their independence.  Your role will include, companionship, supporting with housework, running errands and supporting with preparing and cooking meals.  Administering medication may be required.  

Skills and Experience required of our Care Support Assistant: 

You are required to have good communication skills and have a desire to care for others.   Possessing a UK full driving license and having some previous experience would be advantageous.
