Main duties of the job
The role involves supporting our client living in their own home to explore and enjoy the local community.
Applicants should have good time management skills and be able to work as part of a team to ensure consistent support and attendance at all medical appointments.
It is essential for applicants to work in a person-centred manner, utilizing the client's preferred communication methods.
Applicants must assist the client in accessing and exploring the local community in a safe, person-centred, and accessible way.
Support with all aspects of personal care will also be required (washing and dressing support).
The goal is to help the client achieve a fulfilling lifestyle by supporting them in social activities and promoting a positive presence in the community.
Assistance is needed to manage and maintain a healthy diet. The client can use a microwave to heat meals, but support is required for using other kitchen equipment.

We are looking for a Care Support Assistant to come and join our team to support a client based in Ellesmere Port
Full training will be given to set you on your path to being a Care Support Assistant, where you will be paid a competitive rate of pay after completion of training.
You will be paid £14.00 per hour after training is completed and a reduced rate for sleeping nights (training is provided during our recruitment process)

Your responsibilities as our Care Support Assistant will include: Assisting and supporting vulnerable clients to enable them to live the life they choose (where possible) to promote their independence. Your role will include, companionship, supporting with housework, running errands and supporting with preparing and cooking meals. Administering medication may be required.
Skills and Experience required of our Care Support Assistant:
You are required to have good communication skills and have a desire to care for others. Possessing a UK full driving license and having some previous experience would be advantageous.
