We are looking for a Care Support Assistant to come and join our team to support a client based in London, SW15 postcode area.
Full training will be given to set you on your path to being a Care Support Assistant, where you will be paid a competitive rate of pay after completion of training. Previous experience of working in the care sector as well as supporting clients with behaviours that challenge is essential for this role.
This role is a part-time position for a minimum of 24 hours per week with flexibility required to cover annual leave and sickness. The position involves a mixture of day shifts and waking night shifts.
An enhanced DBS on the update service would be beneficial for this position.
Main duties of the job
Your responsibilities as our Care Support Assistant will include but is not limited to: Supporting our client with her nutritional needs, personal care and hygiene, administration of medication, mobility needs, accessing the community, promoting a good nights sleep, monitoring throughout the night, engaging in positive behaviour support plans, managing behaviours that challenge and monitoring and responding to seizures.
Skills and Experience required of our Care Support Assistant:
You are required to have good communication skills and have a desire to care for others. Possessing a UK full driving license would be advantageous.
An enhanced DBS on the update service would be beneficial for this position.
