The position is supporting a vulnerable adult living within his own home, working alongside a small staff team.

Main Responsibilities:

Report any changes in needs to the designated Care Manager or Registered Manager so that updates can be made to the care plan.

Assist the Care Manager or Registered Manager in ensuring that all shifts are adequately covered according to the allocated funding.

Maintain accurate records, such as Medication Administration Records (MAR) and care support diaries, and inform relevant individuals of any changes.

Administer and manage medications, ensuring that appropriate stock levels are maintained at all times.

Provide personal care assistance to the individual you are supporting.

Participate in and support activities both inside and outside the home.

Accompany clients to hospital appointments.

The role involves supporting a gentleman living in his own home to explore and enjoy the local community.

 

Applicants must assist the client in accessing and exploring the local community in a safe, person-centred, and accessible way.

 

Support with all aspects of personal care will also be required (washing and dressing support).

 

The goal is to help the client achieve a fulfilling lifestyle by supporting them in social activities and promoting a positive presence in the community.

Full training will be given to set you on your path to being a Care Support Assistant, where you will be paid a competitive rate of pay after completion of training.  

You will be paid £14.00 per hour after training is completed and a reduced rate for sleeping nights (training is provided during our recruitment process)

  • Full Time, Days and Sleeping Nights (Mixed shifts) to support a gentlmen in his home

Skills and Experience required of our Care Support Assistant: 

You are required to have good communication skills and have a desire to care for others.   Possessing a UK full driving license and having some previous experience would be advantageous.
