Job summary

We are looking for a Team Leader to join our team to support our clients based in Ellesmere Port

Full training will be given to set you on your path to being a Team Leader, 

You will work as part of the team to provide care and support to the clients

Main Responsibilities.

Be a visible and competent role model to the team

Ensure any change in need is reported to the allocated Care assessor / Registered Manager so changes can be made to reflect this in the care plan

Support the allocated Care assessor / Registered Manager to ensure all shifts are covered as per allocated funding

Ensure accurate records are maintained e.g. MAR sheets, care support diaries etc ensuring relevant individuals are informed of changes

Administer and manage medications ensuring appropriate stock levels are always kept

Aid with personal care to the client that you are supporting

Support / participate in activities in and outside of the home  

Support the client to hospital appointments

Ensure relevant infection prevention and control procedures are always followed.

This job involves day, night, sleeping/waking nights and attracts a competitive rate of pay (after completion of training).

Your responsibilities as our Care Support Assistant will include:    Assisting and supporting vulnerable clients to enable them to live the life they choose (where possible) to promote their independence.  Your role will include, companionship, supporting with housework, running errands and supporting with preparing and cooking meals.  Administering medication may be required.  

Skills and Experience required of our Care Support Assistant: 

You are required to have good communication skills and have a desire to care for others.   Possessing a UK full driving license and having some previous experience would be advantageous.
