Job summary

The Registered Manager will be required to provide overall effective leadership to the Care Management Team and Care Staff to ensure that all comply with company standards, local and national governance and the CQC regulatory requirements. Deliver CQC registered care services using a person-centred approach that maximises independence. The successful candidate will be able to vary hours according to the needs of the business including participation in on-call duties on a rota basis.

Main duties of the job

Main Duties

Managing the Day-to-Date running of Care Delivery, keeping the Senior Management Team and Directors updated.

To Complete Care Assessments and Plans.

To liaise, co-operate with regards to Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspectors and inspections.

Support with On-Call and care duties as and when required.

To ensure the highest standard of care to all clients in line with company policies and procedures.

To ensure that the Human Rights of each client are recognised, assessed, and met.  Support clients in making decisions aligned to their own choices and how they want to live their lives.

To ensure your team of Care Managers & Deputy Registered Manager are carrying out their duties and ensuring the highest quality of service with regards to our Personal Assistants (PA), and Clients

Working with Human Resources ensure all employment legislation is implemented.

To arrange or supervise the creation of staff rotas and on call rotas using the company scheduling software.

Who we’re looking for?

  • We’re looking for somebody with the experience and good to attitude to ensure the highest quality and levels of service to our Clients and Staff in line with guidelines set by the CQC.
  • To provide oversight and leadership to Pas, Care Managers & the Deputy Registered Manager to ensure smooth operations within the business.

Essentials

  • Hold a level 5 NVQ in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification and experience.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Health & Social Care environment ideally in a management role.

Desirable

  • Experience of liaising with external agencies at a senior level
  • Knowledge and experience of regulated services, fundamental care standards and key lines of enquiries.
