Job summary

KASE Care is looking for compassionate and dedicated Female Carers to provide specialist domiciliary and complex care for two service users in Cheshunt over the weekend day rota shifts. The role involves assisting individuals with diverse care needs, including diabetes management, acquired brain injury (ABI), PEG feeding, moving and handling, and personal care.

Main duties of the job

  • Person-Centered Care Provide individualised care based on the specific needs of each service user, promoting their comfort, dignity, and well-being.
  • Diabetes Management Monitor and manage diabetes care, including blood glucose checks and insulin administration if necessary, ensuring the health and safety of the service user.
  • Moving and Handling Assist with mobility, transfers, and repositioning of service users using proper moving and handling techniques, including hoists and other mobility aids.
  • Incontinence and Personal Care Provide support with incontinence care, bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, ensuring hygiene and comfort for the service user.
  • Medication Administration Administer prescribed medication in line with care plans, ensuring that dosages and timings are followed precisely.
  • Emotional and Social Support Offer companionship, engage in social activities, and provide emotional support to promote the service users mental well-being.
  • Collaboration with Healthcare Professionals Work closely with healthcare professionals, family members, and other team members to ensure the best outcomes for the service users.
  • Record Keeping Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records, documenting all care provided, changes in condition, and any concerns raised.
