Day & Night Carers (Female) Specialist in Diabetes, Acquired Brain Injury & PEG Feeding (Cheshunt)
KASE Care is looking for compassionate and experienced Female Carers to provide exceptional care for individuals with diabetes, acquired brain injuries (ABI), and PEG feeding needs in Cheshunt. We offer both full-time and part-time positions with flexible day and night shifts available.
The role involves assisting clients with daily living activities such as medication administration, personal care, mobility support, and PEG feeding, while promoting independence and ensuring safety and comfort. Ideal candidates will have experience in diabetes management, ABI support, and PEG feeding care.

Main duties of the job
Person-Centered Care Provide tailored care to clients with diabetes, acquired brain injuries (ABI), and PEG feeding needs, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.Diabetes Care Monitor and manage diabetes care, including checking blood glucose levels, administering insulin (if required), and observing for any symptoms or complications.Medication Administration Administer medication in line with prescribed care plans, ensuring correct dosages and timings while documenting accurately.PEG Feeding and Care Assist with the safe and proper administration of PEG feeding, ensuring hygiene and correct procedures are followed.Mobility Support Aid clients with mobility and transfers using safe moving and handling techniques, including hoists and mobility aids.Personal Care Provide support with daily personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.Emotional & Social Support Offer companionship and emotional support, encouraging clients to maintain social interactions and promoting independence where possible.Collaboration with Healthcare Professionals Work alongside other healthcare professionals and family members to ensure holistic and coordinated care.Accurate Documentation Maintain clear, up-to-date records of the care provided, including client progress, medication administration, and any changes in condition.Safety & Compliance Ensure all care practices adhere to health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and company guidelines.
