Job summary

The Physiotherapy Team is based at our main site in Mirfield, West Yorkshire and consists of Physiotherapists and Physiotherapy Assistants working as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team which includes Occupational Therapists, Speech & Language Therapists, Nurses, Enrichment & Social Care colleagues.

We have excellent facilities at our on-site Therapy Centre which include our excellent Therapy Unit with Trampoline, Hydrotherapy pool & Spa facilities.

Main duties of the job

As well as facilitating sessions within the Therapy Centre this role will include assessing for and reviewing specialist equipment to support posture and mobility, creating individual care plans and associated training for care staff.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated clinician to join and complement our professional and supportive team. You will receive support from the Clinical Lead Physiotherapist and a team of experienced colleagues. You will be self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

We have a genuine commitment to training and development and post holders are expected to develop themselves professionally in line with both current and future service needs and requirements. The successful candidate will have access to regular supervision and be encouraged to participate in a variety of training and development opportunities including providing support for students.

In addition to our main site in Mirfield we also have 3 small Care Homes at locations in West & South Yorkshire which you will be required to visit occasionally therefore it is a requirement that the applicant holds a full driving licence and is a car driver.
