Multi-skilled Maintenance Man (Electrical and Plumbing experience)

The Square Property Management in partnership with Isabellas Homes Ltd is looking to appoint an enthusiastic working Shift Multi skills maintenance manager with demonstrable experience in the operation and maintenance services. The post holder will work with in the maintenance team ensuring the effective maintenance and operation of all buildings, and associated services in an efficient, economical and safe manner in accordance with all statutory departmental guidelines.

Main duties of the job

Main duties of the job

*Day to day work may consist of; easing doors, fitting locks, installing shelves and repair works.

*The multi skilled role is to maintain the structure and the fabric of the building, including maintaining the fire doors and windows in all the different properties.

*Small refurbishment works will be undertaken in care home, properties and office areas.

*You must be able to communicate to all staff in a clear concise manner.

*Help other trades when requested.

*Confident using battery powered hand tools.

*A full driving licence is required for this post.

  • Experience of working on Low Voltage electrical systems
  • Experience of Health and Safety Legislation
  • Demonstrate safe use and operation of relevant tools and equipment

  • Experience of lone working.
  • Minimum of two years post apprenticeship
