Job summary
Claimont Health is looking for outstanding support workers to join our team to support with a bespoke package of care for a female client with emotionally unstable personality disorder, Learning disability and PTSD the community setting.
Claimont Health is a CQC registered unique Mental Health service provider in the Private Sector, predominantly providing person centred, holistic services to clients who prefer to be treated in the comfort of their own home. We offer a tailored service, providing highly skilled mental health professionals to complement clients needs.
We are looking for high quality, dynamic and experienced Mental Health Support Workers, who are passionate, kind, caring and have a passion for delivering outstanding care for a client who presents with complex challenges and trauma.
Due to the nature of the clients needs, this package of care will require FEMALE ONLY staff.
Main duties of the job
The successful post holder will:
- Support client in all aspects of day-to-day life (cleaning, meaningful activities, mental health support).
- Encouraging and promoting independence.
- Monitoring the clients mental health and physical health and report concerns to senior team members.
- Follow care plans and risk assessment.
- Support client into their local community and with local activities.
- Update care records and monitor clients over all wellbeing.
- Promote dignity at all times.
- Support with medication compliance.
- Support with crisis support for the client (where appropriate)

Experience
Essential
- At least 2 years experience within mental health settings.
- Background of working with complex trauma, self-harm, supporting clients with communication needs and experience of supporting a clients with dual diagnosis namely, PTSD, leaning disabilityand Personality disorder.
- Vast experience of supporting clients in the following areas: live in care in a supported accommodation/home environment type setting that present with complex mental health and physical health needs.
- An understanding of the MHA and legal frameworks.
- Experience of working with Multi agencies.
- Experience of working with clients with a personality disorder, learning disability and trauma.
- The ability to document to high standards.
