We are seeking two exceptional Band 7 level Physiotherapists to join our highly skilled multidisciplinary team at Nottingham Brain Injury and Neurological Care Centre.
These are pivotal roles at the cutting edge of evidence-based, technology-driven rehabilitation, offering the chance to shape an integrated service that delivers life-changing outcomes for patients with traumatic brain injury, complex neurological conditions, and respiratory needs.
Main duties of the job

Arm Motus & Wrist Motus robotic - devices for upper-limb neurorehab
Ankle Motus - targeted gait and mobility rehabilitation

Kinestica Bimeo Hand Rehab - interactive upper-limb recovery platform
Kinestica Equio Balance System - advanced balance and postural control training
Stella Bio EMG/FES - biofeedback and functional electrical stimulation to accelerate recovery

The role:
As a Specialist Physiotherapist, you will:
- Provide expert assessment and evidence-based treatment for individuals with complex neurological conditions, including traumatic brain injury (TBI), stroke, spinal cord injury, and progressive neurological disorders.
- Lead on the planning and delivery of physiotherapy interventions, including specialist respiratory and tracheostomy care, ensuring best practice is embedded across the team.
- Champion clinical excellence within the physiotherapy service and play a key role in wider multidisciplinary team (MDT) development and innovation.
- Utilise advanced rehabilitation technologies such as Arm Motus M2 Pro, Wrist Motus, Ankle Motus, Kinestica Equio Balance System and EMG-assisted devices to support functional recovery as part of an integrated neurorehabilitation pathway.
- Drive service development by initiating and implementing physiotherapy protocols, clinical guidelines, and quality improvement initiatives aligned with patient outcomes.
- Provide supervision, mentorship, and clinical leadership to junior physiotherapy staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and shared clinical excellence.
- Build effective relationships with patients, families, carers, and the wider MDT to ensure a cohesive, person-centred approach to rehabilitation.
- Keep people safe from harm and protect their human rights.
