This is a key role, offering the chance to shape and influence a service designed to deliver truly integrated, technology-enabled, and outcome-driven neurorehabilitation for individuals with acquired and traumatic brain injury and complex neurological conditions.

Our approach goes beyond therapy hours - every interaction is therapy. From rapid pre-admission planning to structured inpatient programmes and coordinated post-discharge support, care is consistent, personalised, and outcome-focused.

At the heart of this is our multidisciplinary team of consultants, nurses, therapists, psychologists, and rehab assistants, who work together using shared outcome measures and real-time insights from robotics and smart tech.

The role:

As a Specialist Occupational Therapist, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy interventions for individuals with complex neurological needs.
  • Provide expert clinical leadership within the OT service and actively contribute to innovation and development across the wider MDT.
  • Support junior therapists through supervision, mentoring, and professional development.
  • Engage with service-wide quality improvement projects, outcome measurement, and clinical governance.
  • Help embed the use of specialist rehabilitation technologies into daily practice, aligned with our 24-hour rehab model.
  • Keep people safe from harm and protect their human rights.
