Job responsibilities

Role Overview: As a Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering and assessing mandatory and specialist training. This includes:

  • Mandatory inductions and updates
  • Practical skill assessments
  • Ensuring colleagues are up to date and knowledgeable in delivering high-quality care

The successful candidate will be based in the Manchester area and will be expected to travel to Active Care Group sites and training venues within an approximate 100-mile radius including overnight stop overs.

What you'll be working:

The standard working hours for this role are 37.5 hours per week, from 9.00am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.

What you'll have:

  • Training qualification i.e. Teaching & Assessing award L3, Mentorship award, Moving and Handling Trainer and/or Assessor, or willing to work towards.
  • Minimum of 18 months of occupational competency in Health & Social Care.
  • Experience working with individuals with physical and/or neurological conditions.
  • Strong presentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literate, with the ability to adapt to diverse audiences.
  • A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle (travel may include overnight stays).
  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS.
