We have a wonderful opportunity for an enthusiastic and dynamic Business Administrator to join our friendly and supportive Business Systems Team. As our Business Systems Administrator, you will be supporting the Service Desk Manager whilst providing effective administrative support to a range of task. Maintaining a high standard of confidentiality and always taking a professional but friendly approach to duties. This is a critical and fast-paced operational role which will involve managing multiple tasks concurrently.

Main duties of the job

Principal Accountabilities The role of Business Systems Administrator within the Business Systems Team at ACG, is one that will assist in providing 1st & 2nd line Business Systems application support to the business. This role will report into the IT Service Desk Manager. This is a responsible and demanding role which requires effective collaboration with our user-base and other IT departments. It requires the ability to pro-actively look for continuous improvements in our processes and solutions and to easily adapt with new and improving technology driven by the business.

Job description

Job responsibilities

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing the tickets in our call-logging application
  • Responding to and resolving queries and issues raised
  • 1st line support for system queries & forwarding complex queries to appropriate team members for resolution
  • To develop, review and maintain knowledge resources, including but not limited to, user guides, videos
  • Identify and document best practices as part of ongoing process to increase efficiencies
  • Support the Finance Team creating/amending Suppliers
  • General administrative tasks as required by the team
  • Facilitate project work, including UAT Testing as and when required
  • Communicating and working with the internal 2nd Line Business Systems team.
  • Running the efficient day-to-day operations and delegating tasks and workload as appropriate
  • Provide support during parallel runs prior to Go-Live
