We'd like you to join us as a Live In Support Worker to support our brand new male client who lives in Kirkby Stephen in Cumbria.

Main duties of the job

What you'll be doing:

This role is to support our brand new male client who has a spinal cord injury.

Our client lives in a rural village with his wife. You would move into the clients home for the duration of the assignment and support him with all his needs.

This will include supporting with personal care, moving and handling, medication and domestic duties.

Due to the rural location, a driver would find it easier to get to the clients home.

When you'll be working:

  • We are looking for a regular team member to work permanently with our client
  • Assignment length 2 weeks at a time
  • Assignments and breaks will be planned in advance
