Brownbills Case Management Giving our clients a choice in their daily lives! Do you want to make a REAL difference to children and young people with additional needs? Brownbill Case Management have a wonderful opportunity for a Children and Young Persons Case Manager to join our supportive and friendly team.

Main duties of the job

Brownbill provide a bespoke case management service to the children and young people we work with and their families. This may involve; assisting with arranging packages of care/support either via a care provider or supporting families to recruit staff directly to work with their child/young person, coordinating therapy, rehabilitation and healthcare, procuring specialist equipment, addressing accommodation needs and facilitating educational, vocational and leisure opportunities. We work with Children and Young people who may have sustained an injury at birth or during childhood as a result of clinical negligence or trauma.We work across the Midlands, London, South East and South West regions.We are registered with the Care Quality Commission. For this role you will require: A full drivers licence with access to a suitable vehicle and ability to travel. A minimum of 5 years clinical experience and be registered with either HCPC or the NMC. Have a minimum of 1 years case management experience. It would also be an advantage if you are an advanced members or working towards advanced membership status of the British Association of Brain Injury Case Managers (BABICM). Job responsibilities

What you'll be working:

We offer part time and full-time hours, which can be discussed at or prior to interview.

What you'll be doing:

  • Advocating for your Client while building strong working relationships with families, deputies and litigation solicitors.
  • Produce Case management assessment reports, action plans and SMART goals with timeframes that are specific and relevant to the client with detailed costs as required.
  • Recruit, select and manage a team of care/support workers for clients who wish to directly recruit staff or support your client to appoint an appropriate care provider.
  • Implement individual client focused care/support and therapy/treatment plans with specific guidelines for the support team.
  • Work collaboratively with independent and public services as required to build a team around the child/young person who can meet their needs.
  • Monitor and review your client’s needs and update reports and recommendations as required.
  • Compile risk assessments as required and identify risk management strategies that will manage the safety of all parties in a positive manner.
