Job responsibilities
As a part-time Clinical Psychologist, you'll be an integral member of our friendly and dedicated Multidisciplinary Team. Your role involves conducting clinical psychological assessments utilising various methods including file review, interviews, psychometrics, and behavioural observations. We cater to clients with diverse needs such as serious mental health problems, intellectual disabilities, and neuropsychological issues.
Moorpark Place stands out as a specialist service accommodating up to 25 adults on the Autistic Spectrum, some of whom may exhibit challenging behaviours. Our community comprises 25 individual houses nestled within expansive grounds, fostering a unique and supportive environment. Each resident receives personalised support tailored to their needs, with staffing ratios of either 1:1 or 2:1.
Our facilities include a communal gym, conservatory, sunken trampoline, and sensory garden, offering ample opportunities for recreation and relaxation. Residents actively participate in community activities, fostering socialisation and a sense of belonging.

What you'll be working:
This role is 7.5 hours per week, and we are happy to be flexible in order to accommodate candidates with other employment, or training commitments, as we always strive to support personal and professional growth and development as well as a positive work, life balance.
What you'll be doing:
Complete assessment and clinical formulation of patients' problem behaviours and treatment needs
Provide evidence based individual and group treatment programmes to address or reduce the negative impact of difficulties
Evaluate the effectiveness of individual and group treatment programmes
Direct and support others to carryout evidence-based clinical psychology interventions
Take personal responsibility for ensuring that appropriate security procedures are adhered to at all times and that risks are continuously assessed and managed
Maintain CPD of an HCPC Registered Practitioner Clinical Psychologist and to ensure competence in relation to the administration and scoring to psychological assessments and risk assessments
Develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, visitors, and carers
Keep people safe from any harm and protect their human rights
