We'd like you to join us as a Matron at our Hunters Moor service in Birmingham.
At Hunters Moor, we provide specialist Level 2 Neurological Rehabilitation and Neurobehavioural services to people aged over 18 in Birmingham. We’re committed to helping every person we support feel safe, happy, empowered enabling them to live the best life possible.
What you'll be working:
We're flexible, so you'll work a total 37.5 hours per week.
( 8-4 and or 9-5, will participate in on call rota )
What you'll be doing:
As Matron you will be an NMC registered Nurse and have demonstrated experience leading a clinical team and taking ownership for quality assurance and improvement plans in a neurorehabilitation setting.
- Developing and influencing clinical strategy, policy, and procedures whilst ensuring a robust and effective clinical quality management system is in place and operating effectively.
- To contribute to the achievement of the company strategy and objectives by providing advice and guidance on clinical, operational, and regulatory matters.
- Providing management, mentorship, and clinical leadership across our nursing teams.
- Working closely with operational teams to ensure the delivery of high quality, clinically safe care.
- Managing and undertaking of audits processes, ensuring effective collaboration to address issues and improve care.
- To ensure CQC regulatory standards are adhered to in a consistent manner across the company.
- Represent the organisation in lead roles, such as Safeguarding, Prevent and Mental Capacity.
- Management of complaints and incidents, including the company Serious Untoward Incident framework.
- Ensuring high levels of clinical training are in place to support the operational teams in delivering care.
- Working with internal and external stakeholders to support the growth of complex care within the community.
- Building relationships with CCG’s, Local Authorities and end users in relation to the delivery of care.
What you'll have:
- A Registered Nurse with NMC PIN
- Extensive leadership and management experience
- Experience of coaching and mentoring nursing teams
- Significant post qualification management, leadership, and clinical experience
