Main duties of the job
As a Registered Staff Nurse, you will work and lead within the Nursing Home team, assisting elderly residents with normal activities of daily living, promoting independence and maintaining their dignity and respect. You will provide leadership in the care of people with complex needs and through effective communication, our residents receive a person-centred and holistic review of their individual needs and preferences.You will administer medications as prescribed, following correct procedures and equipment, and assist in implementation of care plans, re-assessments and reviews. You will liaise with the G.P. and other health care professionals as and when necessary to ensure the health needs of residents are identified and met whilst maintaining confidentiality regarding all aspects of care and management of the home.
