The job role of Chef de Partie at Avery Healthcare's Ascot Grange Care Home in Sunninghill is a temporary position that involves supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef to lead a culinary team, providing high-quality, nutritionally balanced meals and catering services for the residents. Main duties of the job
As a Chef de Partie, your responsibilities will include: 1) Participating in meetings with residents and Heads of Departments to discuss and agree catering functions across the home, and to address special needs or dietary requirements of residents. 2) Preparing nutritional food and beverages to a high standard, as directed by the Head Chef. 3) Supporting cost-effective stock control systems to minimize waste and ensure these are in place. 4) Working with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to develop and review the menu on a regular basis.
