Job summary

This is a Registered Nurse role at Avery Healthcare's Barnet Grange Care Home in Barnet. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to residents, acting as the person in charge, and supervising the care team. The role requires a minimum of 2 years' experience and up-to-date knowledge of care, along with excellent interpersonal and care planning skills.

Main duties of the job

As a Registered Nurse at Avery Healthcare, you will be responsible for providing high standards of care to our residents. Your focus will be to act as the person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required and observing all instructions to act upon their behalf. Other responsibilities will include undertaking nursing tasks such as medication distribution, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding, and management of chronic medical conditions. You will also be responsible for advising families and GPs of any changes in resident condition and effectively deploying and supervising the care team.
