Job summary
The role of Activities Driver at Avery Healthcare in Wolverhampton involves providing safe, timely, and courteous transportation for residents to and from various activities, while ensuring quality service. The successful candidate will have a PCV license with Cat D1 and an acceptable driving record, as well as the ability to react calmly in emergencies and be considerate.
Main duties of the job
As an Activities Driver, your focus will be on providing transportation services for residents, assisting them with any special needs during transportation, and performing miscellaneous pickup and delivery services as needed. You will always focus on driving and direct tasks and passenger interactions to onboard support staff while the vehicle is in motion. You will also be required to attend periodic Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) training as needed.
