Job summary

This is a role for a Registered Nurse to work nights at Avery Healthcare's Southampton Manor Care Home. The nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to residents, overseeing the care team, and acting as the person in charge during the night shift. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse and demonstrate excellent nursing skills, care planning, and interpersonal abilities.

Main duties of the job

Your focus as a Registered Nurse will be to act as person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required and observe all instructions to act upon his/her behalf whilst you ensure high standards of care to our residents. Other responsibilities will include undertaking nursing tasks, advising families and GPs of any changes in condition, supervising the care team, and providing high-quality care through accurate assessment and planning.
