Main duties of the job

As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will work as part of a team to ensure all areas of the care home are cleaned to a high standard and that laundry is well-maintained. Your focus asHousekeepingAssistant will be to work as part of a team, ensuring that all standards of cleanliness and laundry aremaintainedin the home. You willoperateaccording to our standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring that hotel service standards aremaintained.

  • Carrying out all cleaning dutiesin accordance withworksheetinstructions.
  • Understandingthe cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and the properties of cleaning materials, ensuring that all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition.
  • Ensuring that all residents are treated with dignity and respect and that their personal space and belongings are always respected.
