Job summary
This is a Senior Care Assistant role at Avery Healthcare's Fleet Hall Care Home in Hampshire. The focus will be on supporting the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.
Main duties of the job
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being involved in the person-centred care planning process, supporting residents with their medication requirements, undertaking staff supervisions, and acting as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives, and healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate should have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care, 2 years' experience in a similar care environment, and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
