Job summary
This role as a Registered Nurse at Avery Healthcare in Chorleywood offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on residents' lives every day. You will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care, overseeing staff, and ensuring the well-being of residents during the night shift.
Main duties of the job
As a Registered Nurse, you will act as the person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required and observe all instructions to act upon their behalf. Your responsibilities will include undertaking nursing tasks such as medication distribution, dressings, catheterization, tube feeding, and managing chronic medical conditions. You will also be responsible for advising families and GPs of any changes in residents' conditions, as well as effectively deploying and supervising the care team to ensure all tasks are completed during your shift.
