Job summary

Main duties of the job
Your responsibilities as a Kitchen Assistant will include understanding the principles of safe food handling, contributing to effective team working, advising on supply and quality of items, and treating residents with dignity and respect. You will need to hold a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate, demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene, and have knowledge of Health and Safety practices. The role requires a high level of sustained physical effort and a positive, flexible attitude towards the work.
