Job summary
The Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator role at Avery Healthcare is focused on providing a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate the residents' physical, psychological, and social well-being. The successful candidate will have experience working with older people in a residential nursing Dementia setting, organizing activities and events, and excellent communication skills.
Main duties of the job
As the Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for understanding the needs of the residents and promoting the philosophy of privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights, and fulfilment. Your other duties will include identifying residents' life histories, planning and submitting monthly activity and wellbeing plans, arranging activities and events, and maintaining a safe living and working environment.
