This is a role for a Housekeeping Assistant at Avery Healthcare, a leading provider of luxury elderly care homes in the UK. Main duties of the job

As a Housekeeping Assistant, your focus will be to work as part of a team, ensuring that all standards of cleanliness and laundry are maintained in the home. You will operate according to the company's standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring that hotel service standards are maintained. Other responsibilities will include carrying out all cleaning duties, understanding the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings, and ensuring that residents are treated with dignity and respect. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of health and safety, particularly moving and handling techniques, fire safety and COSHH assessments, as well as experience of cleaning laundry in a public setting. They should also demonstrate compassion and commitment to the delivery of high-quality housekeeping/laundry service to residents.
