Main duties of the job

As a Care Supervisor at Avery Healthcare, your focus will be on managing, supporting, and guiding a small team within the Care Services team. You will ensure that Avery's processes and procedures are followed to the highest standards, and that the residents' choices, dignity, independence, and personal safety are at the core of all care and support activities. Your responsibilities will include promoting and delivering high-quality person-centered care, closely monitoring and reporting on residents' daily progress, dealing with concerns or complaints promptly, and providing ongoing support for the residents, their families, and the Care Services team.

  • Dealing with any concerns or complaints raised by residents or relatives in a polite, prompt and appropriate manner as soon as they occur.
  • Providing ongoing support for the residents, their families and the Care Services Team.

Our ideal candidate must have:

  • A minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  • A recognised Medication administration qualification and experience.
  • Previous experience in a Senior Care role.
