Job summary
This role as a Senior Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare in Redhill provides an opportunity to support and work alongside the Care team in delivering high-quality personal care, creating a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff. The job involves monitoring resident wellbeing, implementing and evaluating care plans, supporting with medication, and supervising and developing staff.
Main duties of the job
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting and working alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff. This will include monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being involved in the person-centred care planning process, supporting residents with their medication requirements, and undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development. You will be expected to have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to be responsive and flexible in covering a range of responsibilities.
