Job summary

The role of Housekeeping Assistant at Avery Healthcare involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and laundry throughout the care home. Main duties of the job

As a Housekeeping Assistant, your primary focus will be to work collaboratively with your team to uphold the cleanliness and laundry standards set by Avery Healthcare. You will carry out all cleaning duties in accordance with the provided instructions, demonstrating a thorough understanding of the cleaning requirements for different surfaces and materials. Additionally, you will ensure that all residents are treated with dignity and respect, and that their personal space and belongings are always respected.

Your focus asHousekeepingAssistant will be to work as part of a team, ensuring that all standards of cleanliness and laundry aremaintainedin the home. You willoperateaccording to our standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring that hotel service standards aremaintained.

Other responsibilitieswillinclude:

  • Carrying out all cleaning dutiesin accordance withworksheetinstructions.
  • Understandingthe cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and the properties of cleaning materials, ensuring that all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition.
  • Ensuring that all residents are treated with dignity and respect and that their personal space and belongings are always respected.
