Job summary

This role as a Senior Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare in Virginia Water offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of elderly residents every day. Main duties of the job

As a Senior Care Assistant, your focus will be to support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care. This will involve monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being involved in the person-centered care planning process, supporting residents with their medication requirements, and acting as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives, and healthcare professionals. You will also be responsible for undertaking staff supervisions and supporting the development of your colleagues.

  • Beinginvolved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing,monitoring,and undertaking monthly evaluations.
  • Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
  • Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development where required.
  • Acting as a key point for contact with residents, their relatives and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are acted upon, and concerns or complaints are escalated.
