Main duties of the job
As a Senior Care Assistant, your focus will be to support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff. You will be responsible for monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being involved in the care planning process, supporting residents with their medication, and undertaking staff supervisions. The ideal candidate must have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes, 2 years' experience in a similar care environment, and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
