Job summary
This role is for a Maintenance Coordinator at Avery Healthcare, a leading provider of luxury elderly care homes in the UK. The Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for residents and team members, ensuring the smooth running of the facilities, and maintaining a good standard of general upkeep for the building.
Main duties of the job
As a Maintenance Coordinator, your focus will be to resolve any home maintenance concerns promptly, using your working knowledge of building systems and related regulatory requirements. This includes plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical, equipment repairs, and interior/exterior finishes. You will also engage with approved contractors when required and cover all emergencies relating to the fabric of the home or systems contained within the building. If applicable, you will have direct line management of the Maintenance Assistant, including day-to-day supervision, objective setting, annual reviews, and absence management.
