Job summary

As a Chef de Partie, you will have the opportunity to support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in leading a culinary team that provides high-quality, nutritionally balanced meals to the residents, contributing to their overall wellbeing.

Main duties of the job

As a Chef de Partie, your responsibilities will include preparing nutritional food and beverages to a high standard, supporting cost-effective stock control systems, and working with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to develop and review the menu on a regular basis. You will also be required to attend meetings with residents and Heads of Departments to discuss and agree on catering functions across the home, as well as address any special needs or dietary requirements of the residents.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus as Chef de Partie will be to support the Head Chef and Sous Chef to lead a culinary team that provides a nutritionally balanced, comprehensive and high-quality culinary service, which contributes to the overall wellbeing of the residents.

  • Hold a catering qualification such as City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or NVQ or equivalent.

  • Be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
