Job summary
This role as a Maintenance Operative at Avery Healthcare in Kents Hill will focus on ensuring the building and grounds are well maintained, undertaking a variety of routine maintenance tasks, checks to services, and basic fixes to equipment and systems to keep the facilities fully functional. The role requires at least one year of experience in a general maintenance or handyperson role, a full driving license, and knowledge of health and safety practices.
Main duties of the job
As a Maintenance Operative, your primary focus will be to ensure the building and grounds are well maintained, undertaking a variety of routine maintenance tasks, checks to services, and applying basic fixes to equipment and systems to ensure facilities are fully functional. Other responsibilities will include carrying out general maintenance and repairs, supporting new residents to arrange their rooms, undertaking routine re-decoration, advising on supply and quality of items, and providing out-of-hours emergency service.
