Job summary
The role of a Receptionist at Avery Healthcare is to provide professional, high-quality customer service as the first point of contact within the care home. The Receptionist is responsible for handling incoming calls, completing reception-related administration, and providing general administrative support to the General Manager.
Main duties of the job
As a Receptionist at Avery Healthcare, your primary focus will be to offer excellent customer service to residents, visitors, and staff. You will be the first point of contact, answering telephone inquiries, redirecting calls, and recording messages accordingly. Additionally, you will be responsible for completing reception-related administration, maintaining databases, and providing administrative assistance as required by the General Manager. Maintaining the tidiness of the reception area and liaising with Housekeeping to ensure standards are upheld will also be part of your duties.
