Main duties of the job
As a Maintenance Operative at Avery Healthcare, your focus will be to ensure the building and grounds are well maintained, undertaking a variety of routine maintenance tasks, checks to services, and applying basic fixes to equipment and systems to ensure facilities are fully functional. You will carry out general maintenance tasks and basic repairs including all electrical, plumbing, joinery, and building tasks both inside and outside the home. You will also support new residents to arrange their room as they wish and ensure routine re-decoration is undertaken as required to maintain the standards in the home.
