As a Wellbeing and Activities Assistant at Avery Healthcare, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Wellbeing Coordinator in providing a wide range of engaging activities to enhance the physical, cognitive, and social well-being of the residents. You will be part of a dedicated team committed to creating meaningful experiences and a caring, supportive environment for both residents and staff.
Main duties of the job
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe living and working environment, contributing to the positive and professional image of the home. You will report any changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to the relevant staff, and support with ordering and preparing supplies for upcoming activities. Additionally, you will help establish links with the local community to encourage access and promote intergenerational activity.
