Job summary

This role as a Senior Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare in Kingswood offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of residents in a caring and supportive environment. Main duties of the job

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will focus on supporting and working alongside the Care team to provide exceptional personal care, ensuring a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff. Your key responsibilities will include monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, implementing and evaluating person-centered care plans, supporting residents with medication, and acting as a key point of contact for residents, their families, and healthcare professionals. You will also be involved in staff supervisions and supporting the development of the care team.

  • Beinginvolved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing,monitoring,and undertaking monthly evaluations.
  • Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
  • Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development where required.
  • Actingas a key point for contact with residents, theirrelativesand visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are actedupon,and concerns or complaints are escalated.
