Job summary
This is a Maintenance Operative role at Avery Healthcare, a leading provider of luxury elderly care homes in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the building and grounds are well maintained, undertaking a variety of routine maintenance tasks, checks to services, and applying basic fixes to equipment and systems to ensure the facilities are fully functional.
Main duties of the job
As a Maintenance Operative, your focus will be to ensure the building and grounds are well maintained, undertaking a variety of routine maintenance tasks, checks to services, and applying basic fixes to equipment and systems while ensuring facilities are fully functional. Other responsibilities will include carrying out general maintenance tasks and basic repairs, supporting new residents to arrange their room, ensuring routine re-decoration is undertaken, advising on the supply and quality of items, and providing out of hours emergency service.
