Main duties of the job
As a receptionist at Avery Healthcare, your focus will be to offer professional, high-quality customer service as the first point of contact within the home. You will be responsible for answering the telephone and responding to enquiries, redirecting calls to relevant staff, and recording messages accordingly. Additionally, you will complete reception-related administration, maintain databases, and provide administrative assistance as required by the General Manager. You will also be responsible for maintaining the general tidiness of the reception area and liaising with Housekeeping to ensure standards are maintained.
