Job summary

They are looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join their award-winning team as a Maintenance Operative in Sonning, offering a salary of £13.50 per hour.

Main duties of the job

As a Maintenance Operative, your focus will be to ensure the building and grounds are well maintained, undertaking a variety of routine maintenance tasks, checks to services, and basic fixes to equipment and systems to ensure facilities are fully functional. Other responsibilities will include carrying out general maintenance tasks and basic repairs, supporting new residents to arrange their room, undertaking routine re-decoration, advising on the supply and quality of items, and providing out of hours emergency service.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Supporting new residents to arrange their room as they wish.
  • Ensuringroutine re-decoration is undertaken asrequiredtomaintainthe standards in thehome.
  • Advisingon the supply and quality of items used to carry out tasks, ensuring thetimelyandappropriate orderingof replacement goods.
  • Providingout of hours emergency service,participatingin the on-call rota.

  • Have a minimum of one years experience in a general maintenance or handy person role and/or hold a professional qualification in a trade.
  • Hold a full driving licence.

  • Be able to be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
