Job summary
This role as a Maintenance Operative at Avery Healthcare in Littleover offers the opportunity to join a supportive and caring team, where you can make a positive impact on residents' lives every day. With a focus on maintaining the building and grounds, you'll undertake a variety of routine maintenance tasks, checks, and basic repairs to ensure the facilities are fully functional.
Main duties of the job
As a Maintenance Operative, your focus will be to ensure the building and grounds are well maintained, undertaking a variety of routine maintenance tasks, checks to services applying basic fixes to equipment and systems whilst ensuring facilities are fully functional. Other responsibilities will include carrying out general maintenance tasks and basic repairs, supporting new residents to arrange their room, ensuring routine re-decoration is undertaken, and providing out of hours emergency service.
