Job summary
This is a senior care assistant role with Avery Healthcare, a leading provider of luxury elderly care homes in the UK. The role involves supporting and working alongside the care team to deliver high standards of personal care, creating a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
Main duties of the job
As a Senior Care Assistant, your focus will be on supporting the care team to provide excellent personal care to residents. You will be responsible for monitoring residents' wellbeing, implementing and evaluating their care plans, supporting them with medication, and acting as a key point of contact for residents, their families, and healthcare professionals. You will also be involved in staff supervision and development. The ideal candidate will have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care, 2 years' experience in a similar care environment, excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude towards supporting and nurturing both residents and staff.
