Job summary
This is a role as a Senior Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare, a leading provider of luxury elderly care homes in the UK. The focus will be on supporting and working alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, creating a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
Main duties of the job
As a Senior Care Assistant, your key responsibilities will include monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being involved in the person-centred care planning process, supporting residents with their medication requirements, and undertaking staff supervisions. You will also act as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives, and healthcare professionals. To be successful, you will need to have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes, 2 years' experience in a similar care environment, and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
