Job summary
This role as a Maintenance Operative at Avery Healthcare is an excellent opportunity to join a leading provider of luxury elderly care homes in the UK. You will be responsible for ensuring the building and grounds are well maintained, undertaking a variety of routine tasks and checks to keep the facilities fully functional.
Main duties of the job
As a Maintenance Operative, your focus will be on carrying out general maintenance tasks and basic repairs, including electrical, plumbing, joinery, and building work both inside and outside the home. You will also support new residents with arranging their rooms, ensure routine re-decoration is undertaken, and provide an out-of-hours emergency service as part of the on-call rota.
