Job summary
This role as a Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator at Avery Healthcare in Littleover will focus on providing a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate the residents' physical, psychological, and social well-being. You will work to understand the needs of the residents and promote their privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights, and fulfilment.
Main duties of the job
As the Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator, your responsibilities will include identifying the life history, needs, and preferences of residents, planning and submitting monthly activity and wellbeing plans, arranging activities and events, and maintaining a safe living and working environment. You should have previous experience working with older people in a residential setting, as well as effective communication skills and a positive attitude towards older people.
